Electricity and Water Authority (EWA), Bahrain appointed OliverWyman along with Ramboll and FWPC for the PWPA extension and replacement of thermal desalination (MED) to SWRO for the Al Hidd IWPP.
Al Hidd IWPP currently produces 965MW of power and 60 MIGD of water through MED. SWRO plant capacity is targeted to be 90 MIGD.
